Funerals

Whilst in the process of grieving, it is difficult time to create a unique and moving personal ceremony for a loved one. I would like to help you with this.

 

Celebrant led funerals provide an opportunity to convey a meaningful and personal ceremony which will be a privilege. 

 

I will spend as much time as you or your family members need to assist you in creating a funeral that reflects the person that is left behind, their true nature and personality. This will be by anecdotal stories, memories, and personal achievements, so that I can gain a true understanding of who they were and what they mean to those they leave behind. I will then compose a beautiful, and individual ceremony that will be both a celebration of life and the tender mourning of a loss. It will be a collective endeavour.

 

If you or perhaps others would like to talk and take an active role in the ceremony, then I can suggest readings, poems or ones carefully chosen to reflect the life and beliefs of the person who has died. Alternatively, I can help you to write and deliver your own tribute or farewell or read those on your behalf. You may have in mind some music or songs for your loved one to arrive and leave by and to play during a period of reflection, but if not, I would be able to make suggestions and help you find the most appropriate for you. 

 

Whatever your wishes, led by you, I will create a fitting funeral where the focus is on the life, beliefs, values and character of the person you love and one that acknowledges your loss.
